This Week in Startups (TWiST) is a weekly podcast hosted by Jason Calacanis, about … you guessed it: STARTUPS. It’s an excellent resource for both entrepreneurs and investors. There are three types of shows:
- Interviews, where Jason and his co-host Tyler sit down with a known founder or investor for an hour and talk shop. Recently, I enjoyed the interview with Naval Ravikant, founder of Angel List.
- News Roundtables, where Jason invites in a few guests to talk about the latest startup/tech news.
- Meetups, where cities from all over the world, video conference live on TWIST a handful of startups that pitch their ideas to Jason in a Shark Tank type format.
I reached out to Jason a few months ago and asked him if we could organize meetup in Sweden. He was game provided that we battled South Africa.
